Manchester Video provide confidential processing of all types of video evidence including time-lapse, multi-camera (multiplexed) and digital CCTV.

Commonly referred to as "video enhancement" the service that we provide is perhaps more accurately described as:- The analysis and processing of video evidence in order help clarify and/or reveal existing information and present the result in standard playback or viewing formats.

We use a range of specialist equipment to process video evidence. This includes dedicated CCTV decoding hardware & forensic analysis software developed in co-operation with the Institute for Forensic Imaging in the USA.

We work very closely with our clients and are pleased to assist in applying for prior authority in publicly funded cases. Cost estimates are provided for all other work.

Our technical guidance and advice is available to help you ensure that the best available evidence is secured whenever possible.

Our work is fully supported by witness statements in accordance with either the Criminal Justice Act or the Civil Procedure Rules for Experts and Assessors. We will attend court either as a professional witness explaining and/or presenting evidence or as an expert witness in support of a forensic report.

Many of our services are also available on site. This is particularly useful where highly confidential or specialised material needs to be processed. We can also attended court with specialist equipment to process and present evidence on-demand during a trial.

Our filming & photography unit can be called up to record an incident scene, suspect route etc.
